About the Job

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team in Skipton as a 3rd Shift Staff Pharmacist. This is a key role within our community pharmacy, responsible for providing expert care and advice to customers and patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and be able to provide guidance and support to store teams. They will also be accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy, ensuring that customer and patient safety is paramount.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
  • Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
  • Build the pharmacy capability of store teams
  • Conduct continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety

**Requirements:**

  • Registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
  • Possession of excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
  • Be a great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet the varied needs of our customers and patients

**Salary:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
