Job Overview:

**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement systems for quality standards and day-to-day operations
* Recruit and supervise personnel
* Ensure compliance through training programs
* Identify business opportunities in data management
* Outline operational strategies for new projects
* Provide oversight and support
* Coordinate data management activities
* Ensure profitability and budget management
* Identify and resolve problems and issues

**Requirements:**
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Project management training and experience
* Ability to accurately identify and resolve problems
* Ability to work with representatives from various scientific disciplines
* Solid understanding of the drug development process
* Knowledge of federal regulatory requirements
* Expertise in PCs, Microsoft Office, and project management software

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline and at least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including 5 years in a directorial position.
