We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Psychology graduate to join our team as an Education Support Assistant. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the class teacher to supervise class activities and ensure a smooth learning environment.
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those with challenging behavior.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure that staff and parents are informed of any updates.
- Develop positive relationships with staff members and students, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with 1:1 or small group interventions to support students' learning and development.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Child Psychology or a related field.
- High level of literacy skills and experience in supporting children's learning.
- Satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Overseas criminal clearance and Right to Work in the UK.
- Ability to travel as required.
