Electrical Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Zest. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, coupled with mechanical knowledge and experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including control systems, motors, and wiring, to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  3. Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  4. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role, with a strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and mechanical components.
  3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
