Science Lecturer

We are seeking a skilled Science Lecturer to join our team at Reed - Further Education. As an Access to HE Science Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing students in a post-16 education setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students, covering a range of science topics.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and internal verification duties.
- Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education).
- Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area.
- Ability to manage challenging behavior.
- Experience working with 16-19 year olds in education or apprentice settings.
- Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance.
