About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the management of complex mental health cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise and collaborate with care coordinators, commissioners, families, and carers, as well as other services and agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Implement the Mental Health Act and liaise with the Ministry of Justice as required.
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the service user care pathway from assessment and admission to discharge.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved Clinician status.
- Experience in General Adult or rehabilitation settings and working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings, and risk assessment and risk management.
