Learning Support Worker for Children with Disabilities

As a Special Needs Support Assistant at Protocol Education Ltd, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides educational support to students with complex needs. In this role, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a tailored support plan that meets the individual needs of each student.

About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity in a special needs school in Chelmsford, where you will work 5 days a week supporting students with severe and complex needs. Your duties will include working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to improve engagement, interaction, and raise attainment. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills as an LSA and work closely with parents to ensure consistency between home and school environments.

Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the relevant qualifications and training for this position. This may include a degree in a relevant field, such as education or child development, or equivalent experience working with children. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave allowance.
