Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team at a prestigious SEN school in Hillingdon, London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs and have excellent communication skills.

Salary: The salary for this role is £95-£150 per day, depending on experience.

About the Role: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver lessons and interventions tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs.

You will lead classes alongside teaching assistants and collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to ensure the children's needs are met.

This SEN school aims to provide learners with the best possible opportunities to succeed in all areas of their life, including social, emotional, physical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lessons and interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Working closely with class teachers and SENCO to ensure seamless support
  • Leading classes alongside teaching assistants

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN or delivering lessons in a primary or SEN setting
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
