Nursery Manager

A term-time nursery manager position is available at a preschool near Micheldever, Winchester. This outstanding rated preschool seeks an experienced professional to oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality education and care for young children.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in accordance with the school's educational philosophy.
  • Lead and manage a team of preschool staff, including qualified members and trainees, ensuring they adhere to best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain staff-to-child ratios as per EYFS guidelines, supervising trainees as required.
  • Prioritize child safety and well-being, ensuring a secure and conducive learning environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively and involving them in their child's education.
  • Oversee daily preschool operations, including resource organization, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Monitor education and care quality, ensuring the preschool meets or exceeds relevant standards.


**Requirements:**
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in early years education and care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant regulations.
