About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lidl GB as a Deputy Store Manager, where you will play a key role in leading and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set a high standard for the Store Team and customers, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills.
  • Take charge of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve their full potential, using our Leadership & Company Principles to drive success.
  • Monitor and manage store performance, including deliveries, till areas, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues and customers in a friendly and approachable way.
  • Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Confidence in supporting the team through every shift, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to monitor, manage, and improve KPIs, driving business growth and success.
