About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Fareham & Gosport. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide morning care and support to clients, including assistance with personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with light household tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Engage clients in enjoyable activities, such as reading, games, or outings, to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and provide peace of mind.
Requirements
  • No prior experience required; comprehensive in-house induction and ongoing training will be provided.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Availability of reliable transportation for home visits, outings, and errands.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.
  • Inherent caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving license and own transportation.
  • Must be 18+.
