Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to take up the role of Mechanical Maintenance Lead Engineer. The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of the maintenance and reliability strategy on site for our client in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive engineering excellence by establishing site standards and safe operating practices.
  • Develop plant maintenance to meet future business and customer needs, enhancing uptime and productivity through proactive engineering and critical spares plans.
  • Implement and monitor effective strategies, processes, and practices to ensure safety and protect employees, contractors, visitors, the site, and the environment.
  • Accountable for the Maintenance Budget and support the preparation and delivery of the Capital Project Plan.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification and solid experience leading Maintenance teams in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for safe operation on a top tier COMAH site.
  • Experience leading coaching and developing teams.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare
