Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service team in Penygroes, Llanelli. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of the people we support and their families, providing emotional and practical care and support to enable them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults in a residential setting, ensuring their dignity, independence, and well-being are maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care plans, promoting the health and wellbeing of the people we support.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working on a rota basis, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
  • Offer focused support with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and administering medication.
  • Facilitate activities that promote the dignity, independence, and well-being of the people we support.
  • Work independently, taking sole responsibility for the care and support of individuals, ensuring their safety and health are prioritized.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements, as identified by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
