About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service team in Penygroes, Llanelli. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of the people we support and their families, providing emotional and practical care and support to vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health and learning disabilities, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred care plans, ensuring the highest level of care is provided.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working on a rota basis, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
  • Offer focused support with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and administering medication.
  • Facilitate activities that promote independence, dignity, and well-being, tailored to the individual's needs and preferences.
  • Work within regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales standards.
