Job Title: Medical Lead - Haematology Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Lead - Haematology Expert to join our team at AbbVie. As a Medical Lead, you will be responsible for representing the affiliate's medical/scientific voice for assigned licensed and pipeline products and relevant therapeutic areas. You will provide specialist medical/scientific strategic and operational input into core medical affairs activities for the Affiliate Medical Department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge for assigned product(s)/relevant therapeutic area(s) through attendance at key internal meetings/training sessions and congresses.
* Provide expert medical/scientific advice for assigned products and related therapeutic areas; respond to requests for scientific/technical information; contribute to the development of core dossiers generated by the medical, regulatory and market access departments.
* Establish and maintain professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders, academic centres and relevant scientific societies.
* Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals and deliver training to Company departments, as required.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline. Medical degree of higher scientific degree preferred.
* Significant experience working within the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs.
* Significant experience leading teams, managing direct reports and mentoring colleagues.
* Knowledge of drug development, clinical research and real-work evidence generation.
* Expert knowledge in oncology/haematology is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of relevant compliance, procedures and codes of conduct.
* Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
