About the Role

We are seeking a talented Health Promotion Advisor to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of our integrated sexual health service, you will develop and implement effective health promotion strategies to educate patients on healthy practices.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and education to patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with vulnerable groups.

Salary: £32,000 - £43,041 per annum.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Develop and implement effective health promotion strategies to educate patients on healthy practices.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and education to patients.
  • Collaborate with local communities to promote awareness and understanding of sexual health issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1st Level Registered Nurse with degree or relevant degree level study.
  • At least three years practice, of which two years is within sexual health specialty.
  • Knowledge of current issues and trends in sexual health.
