About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caring Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in welfare, support, or health and social care and be looking for a new challenge.

As a Caring Support Specialist, you will work with individuals who require support and guidance to navigate complex systems. You will travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes around Sutton/Croydon/Surrey to provide one-to-one support and advocacy.

You will engage with people from all walks of life, ensuring that their voice is heard and their wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support and advocacy to individuals
  • Travel to locations to provide support and guidance
  • Engage with people from diverse backgrounds
Requirements:
  • IAQ qualified or willingness to study for and obtain within 12 months
  • Previous experience working with vulnerable people
  • Kindness, compassion, good communication skills, and ability to connect with others
  • A valid driver's license and car for travel to clients
