Job Title: Mobile Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our clients' access platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct LOLER examinations and repairs on customer sites across the UK
  • Service and refurbish access equipment, including scissor lifts, booms, and specialist narrow access platforms
  • Perform pre-delivery product inspections and outside customer LOLER inspections, servicing, and repairs
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and provide accurate progress reports to customers through effective written and verbal communication
  • Work Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30, with occasional call-outs for one week of the month (additional remuneration included)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • CAP Certificate and IPAF Certificate
  • Ability to travel and lodge occasionally when working on-site
