Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering NEC contracts, managing contractual variations, and providing commercial guidance to project teams. They will also interpret and apply NEC principles, advise on risk and opportunities, and evaluate subcontractor applications. Additionally, they will oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient in NEC3/4 contract administration and principles.
  • Relevant professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIPS) is desirable.
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors is essential.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
