About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Biotechnology Microbiologist to join our client's Microbiology team. As the QC Microbiologist, you will be responsible for managing Environmental Monitoring activities in-line with the EM Strategy and associated QMS procedures to support GMP manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of the control strategy and site master file for company's Biologics GMP facilities to ensure they are current and appropriate to the activities being undertaken.
  • Undertake hygiene risk assessments for facility, utilities, and project-specific processes.
  • Support the technical transfer of projects into the GMP facility to ensure compliance to GMP requirements and the company's Biologics control strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience and understanding of the requirements of Environmental Monitoring and associated GMP requirements.
  • Degree in a scientific discipline (ideally Microbiology), plus significant industrial experience.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
