Job Title: Primary School Teacher

Location:** Nottingham

Salary:** £160 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:**

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students, ensuring an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student development and achieve educational objectives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to enhance professional growth and contribute to a positive school culture.
  • Utilize effective classroom management skills to create a productive and respectful learning environment.
  • Develop and implement instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, promoting academic excellence and social growth.
  • Stay updated on the national curriculum and educational best practices to ensure high-quality instruction and student achievement.
  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to establish a positive and supportive learning community.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with educational standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills, stay current with educational trends, and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver staff training and development programs, promoting peer-to-peer learning and growth.
  • Support the school's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and families.

Required Qualifications:**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum.

Education:** A relevant Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:** Previous experience in teaching primary school students is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:**

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Effective classroom management abilities, ensuring a productive and respectful learning environment.
  • Able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, promoting academic excellence and social growth.

Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

Working Conditions:** This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and daily schedule. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.
