Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team in our Bridgend workshop. The successful candidate will have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician, or a similar role. Experience in plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Find, diagnose, and rectify faults in Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Undertake preventative maintenance on our equipment
- Work with a range of equipment, from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks
- Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (desirable)
- IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in work and complete tasks to the highest standard
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
