Our Current Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our team in our Bridgend workshop. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, or mechanical engineer, with a strong background in plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults in Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Undertake preventative maintenance on our equipment
  • Work with a range of equipment, from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks
Requirements
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (desirable)
  • IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
