About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of mental health conditions, including dementia, depression, and anxiety disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and medication management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
