Children's Residential Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at our children's residential home in Manchester. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home and delivering high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role
- Ensure each young person feels heard and supported to achieve their potential.
- Play an active role in the lives of children and young people, engaging in arts and crafts, taking them to movies, playing games, and keeping them safe.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and the smooth running of the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, social services, and other external agencies.
- Participate in recruitment, induction, and training of new staff members.
Requirements
- Experienced in Team management or similar role.
- Level 3 in Children's Residential (Level 5 desirable).
- 2 Years experience in Ofsted-regulated children's homes provisions.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, policy, and procedures relating to childcare and education.
