About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Guidance and Control Systems Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in the design and testing of sophisticated missile Guidance and Control (G&C) systems, spanning specialist algorithms, real-time architecture, and complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop theoretical knowledge and extensive experience of aerospace guidance, control, and navigation specification, analysis, algorithm design & implementation, real-time architecture, and verification
  • Manage complexity by identifying major drivers in a large, inter-connected engineering system
  • Communicate complex or conceptually difficult ideas clearly and elegantly
  • Diagnose abnormalities in an engineering system both physically and virtually through computer modelling and simulation (Matlab & Simulink)
