Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative midwife to lead our established case loading team, Blossom & Bloom, that offers continuity of care to women and their families planning to birth in the community setting.

Main Duties

You will need to have excellent leadership skills to support the team to deliver high-quality care and be open to embracing positive change and transformation in order to meet the needs of the women in the local population.

You will support women choosing to birth at home or in our free-standing birth centre, embracing our plans to improve our provision of continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the case loading team, Blossom & Bloom, to deliver high-quality care to women and their families.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve continuity of care for women in the community.
  • Work closely with the Community Matrons and other CoC leads to develop new teams and improve service delivery.
  • Manage one additional team once they have been established.
  • Collaborate with cross-site teams across Hampshire Hospitals to improve maternity services.
Person Specification

We are looking for a midwife with:

  • At least 3 years' experience in an NHS healthcare setting.
  • Experience of undertaking audits and research.
  • Proven experience of participating in service improvement and change management.
  • Proven management and leadership experience.
