About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Test Engineer to join our Software Development team at GivEnergy. As a Junior Software Test Engineer, you will play a key part in developing a smart and scalable platform that supports our innovation and links into our hardware research and development to ensure we remain ahead of the market and can deliver on our mission to empower energy freedom for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the senior team to analyse requirements, build test plans, and test new features.
  • Working with and enabling the expert user community.
  • Analysing issues raised and feeding back to the team.
  • Working with the team to build out automated testing capabilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's testing/QA experience in software.
  • Experience with defect and test management software (e.g. Jira).
  • Knowledge of testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with various testing techniques.
  • Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write test cases, check lists, and test plans.
