Lead Pharmacy Technician Manager

Elevate your pharmacy career with a dynamic leadership role at a leading private hospital in South-West London.
As the Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care. You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to lead and mentor a team of skilled pharmacy professionals, driving improvements and ensuring quality governance in the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Ensure accurate dispensing and distribution of medications, maintaining compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory guidelines
- Manage inventory and oversee stock levels, collaborating with healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues
- Drive improvements and ensure quality governance in the pharmacy, maintaining a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- At least 2 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
