Elevate your pharmacy career with a dynamic leadership role at a leading private hospital in South-West London.

As the Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care. You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to lead and mentor a team of skilled pharmacy professionals, driving improvements and ensuring quality governance in the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and support the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
  2. Ensure accurate dispensing and distribution of medications, maintaining compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory guidelines
  3. Manage inventory and oversee stock levels, collaborating with healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues
  4. Drive improvements and ensure quality governance in the pharmacy, maintaining a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
  2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  3. At least 2 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
  4. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
