Job Title: Co-ordinator Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team at the Bristol Dental Hospital as a Co-ordinator Assistant.

This is a full-time, band 3 post with an estimated salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.

About the Role:
  • Manage patient communications via telephone and Trust systems to create letters, emails, and text reminders.
  • Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust via telephone and email.
  • Assist in training new members of the team.
  • Maintain, order, and/or receive stationery and essential items, in line with Trust policies.
  • Receive referrals from primary care and other sources and register referral details onto PAS in accordance with the Trust's Outpatient Standards to book patient appointments by telephone and arrange appointment-related services as required.

Person Specification:
  • Educated to GCSE, grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
  • Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception.
  • Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person.
  • Effective and polite manner when dealing with people, both face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft packages.
  • Working knowledge of outpatient policies and procedures.
