About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maths teacher to join our Progression Curriculum team at Trafford & Stockport College Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering GCSE Mathematics and Functional Skills to learners aged 16-18.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to learners in GCSE Mathematics and Functional Skills
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of learners
  • Assess and provide feedback to learners on their progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and college targets
About the Department

The Progression Curriculum team at Trafford & Stockport College Group is dedicated to helping learners progress in education or employment. We offer a range of courses and bespoke provision for learners aged 16-19, including GCSE Mathematics and Functional Skills.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Maths teacher with experience of teaching GCSE Mathematics and Functional Skills to learners aged 16-18. You will have a passion for your subject and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and learners.
