GCSE Maths Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maths teacher to join our Progression Curriculum team at Trafford & Stockport College Group. As a GCSE Maths Lecturer, you will play a vital role in helping learners improve their maths skills and achieve their GCSE Grade.

About the Role:

As a GCSE Maths Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to learners who are yet to achieve a Grade 4 in maths. You will work closely with our experienced Progression Curriculum team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the needs of our learners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering GCSE maths lessons to learners who require additional support
  • Developing and implementing individualised learning plans to meet the needs of our learners
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning
  • Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback
About You:

We are looking for a qualified Maths teacher who is passionate about their subject and has a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will have a strong understanding of the GCSE maths curriculum and be able to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of our learners.

Desirable qualities include:

  • Experience of teaching GCSE maths to learners who require additional support
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the GCSE maths curriculum
  • Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
