As an Assistant Buyer within the Mobile team, you'll work closely with our Buyer and Senior Buyer to develop and execute category strategies that meet customer needs and drive business results. Your expertise will be essential in managing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, and negotiating product ranges to ensure competitive pricing and optimal profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive category growth and profitability
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform category strategies
  • Negotiate product ranges and pricing with suppliers to meet business objectives
  • Support the Buyer and Senior Buyer in managing category performance and identifying areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in buying or a similar commercial role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-centric approach
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
