Senior Care Coordinator

Job Summary
This role involves providing high-quality, individualized care and support to residents during the day, promoting their privacy, dignity, and independence. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and leading the shift team, working collaboratively to create a happy and caring atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Supervise and lead the shift team, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Conduct regular handovers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-quality care standards.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- A compassionate and caring nature.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
