Activities Director

Job Summary:

Hartford Care is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing stimulating and meaningful activities for our residents, promoting their quality of life, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a range of physical, social, emotional, and psychological activities tailored to individual residents' needs and interests.
• Create a happy and caring atmosphere, prioritizing residents' needs and providing a supportive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of activities and services.
• Provide opportunities for residents to engage in activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure resident satisfaction and engagement.

Requirements:

• No prior experience is required, as we provide full training and support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• A passion for working with older adults and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and services.
