Senior Project Engineer

MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join their delivery team for the Southern Water framework on the Burham site. As a key member of the team, you will assist the Project Manager in managing the design, construction, commissioning, and close-out of projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively while maintaining health and safety, environmental standards, and customer satisfaction.
The Burham Water Treatment Works is a flagship site for the CMDP framework, and this high-profile project has longevity through AMP 8. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical who can handle complex clean water projects and drive innovation, challenge stakeholders, and minimize risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the Project Management strategy
- Producing the contract programme, monitoring progress, and generating reports
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Collaborating with site management on design and procurement issues
- Preparing construction completion and take-over documentation
- Ensuring confidentiality and data protection
- Coordinating technical aspects between MWH engineering and supply chain partners
- Identifying opportunities for innovation, improving working practices, and minimizing risk
- Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to generate cost plans, input commitments, and monitor project out-turn costs
