About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospital Porter to join our team at Zoom Recruitment Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of clinical waste, domestic waste, and general waste from internal departments and associated properties, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.
  • Provide a portering service, including furniture removal and delivery to departments, as well as relocation services for small-scale projects.
  • Maintain the tidiness of internal and external public areas, addressing and removing discarded items, and ensuring a safe and high-standard presentation of the site.
  • Transport patients between departments, associated properties, and residences, as required.
  • Drive between locations, transporting goods and supplies to community departments, including post runs, pharmacy deliveries, and confidential waste collection services.
  • Assist the Facilities Team Leader in emergency situations, such as evacuations, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Standard DBS Police check within a year old.
  • Covid Vaccinated (NHS Role).
  • Porter Experience.
  • British Driving Licence essential (No More than 6 Points).
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Available Immediately.
  • Available Monday - Friday.
