About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at a beautiful care home in Bolsover. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily life and personal care, promoting their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Support residents with moving and handling duties, utilizing equipment such as hoists, slings, and stand aids.
  • Engage in activities to promote the highest quality of life for our residents.
  • Provide company and emotional support to residents.
Working Hours

Weekend shifts available: 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00.

Requirements
  • 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
  • In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical moving and handling training.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service.
  • Minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
