We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Play Leader to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing children's activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage children's activities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive activities for children, ensuring a high level of participation and enjoyment.
- Ensure child safety and well-being: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate effectively: Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and a positive attitude.
- Administer first aid: Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary, maintaining accurate records of incidents and accidents.
- Support additional sites: Assist with the management and delivery of activities at other Mytime Active sites, as required.
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above Childcare/Play work relevant Qualification: Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or play work, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and understanding of child development and safety.
- Food Hygiene certificate: Possess a valid food hygiene certificate, ensuring a high level of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Paediatric First Aid: Hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate, demonstrating a high level of first aid knowledge and skills.
- Safeguarding Children: Possess a valid safeguarding children certificate, ensuring a high level of awareness and understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
