We're working with a leading international copper mining company to find a Commercial Sustainability Manager to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute a commercial sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a commercial sustainability strategy that drives business growth and minimizes environmental impact.
  • Represent the company at industry events and communicate the strategy to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the commercial and sustainability teams to identify areas of commonality and drive business results.
  • Lead projects to produce research and findings that inform commercial decisions and mentor junior team members.
  • Report directly to the CEO.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the link between strategy development and commercial outcomes.
  • Proven expertise in ESG and its impact on the metals and mining industry, particularly in copper, rhenium, molybdenum, and other precious metals.
  • Experience in a management or mentoring role is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • The role is based in London, with a minimum of two days in the office.
