We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Managing Director, leading the charge in shaping the future and continued growth of Castlegate Financial Management as part of the wider Duncan & Toplis Group.
About the RoleThe Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations within Castlegate, including client and portfolio development, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and identify growth opportunities with existing clients.
- Promote strong relationships across the Duncan & Toplis group and with the Kreston Global network.
- Implement and uphold robust governance structures and comprehensive risk management practices.
- Expertise in ensuring the firm's operations and practices are fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor, develop, and manage the performance of team members, setting clear goals and objectives and providing regular support and feedback.
- Oversee and optimise the firm's financial performance, strategically guiding the organisation to consistently meet or surpass its financial objectives and targets.
- Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, focused on engagement leadership emotional intelligence and motivating and guiding others.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management practices, with extensive and proven industry experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FCA regulations and other relevant financial legislation.
- Possession of professional certifications at a minimum of Level 4, such as the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA), is highly desirable.
- Full UK Driving licence.
