Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Site Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing various types of doors, primarily Rhino Doors, including associated hardware and components.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Install, service, and maintain Rhino Group's range of doors, including NPSA (CPNI) rated sliding, folding, bifold doors, side-hinged doors, and fire doors, which may be mechanical or electrically operated.
  2. Work with doors from other manufacturers, ensuring high-quality installations and maintenance.
  3. Provide innovative, technically aware problem-solving to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  4. Comply with Health & Safety requirements, holding a valid CSCS Card and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
  5. Lead or be part of a team to complete projects on time and to high standards, utilizing power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  6. Complete and submit HSE and company paperwork after projects, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
  7. Conduct audits and checks on Rhino equipment per standards, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  8. Follow all written and verbal instructions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  9. Train and supervise team members to ensure adherence to safety documentation and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must undergo security clearance, including background checks, employment references, residential checks, a medical exam, and random drug and alcohol tests.

Other required qualifications include IPAF and PASMA certification, with the company covering costs for the latter.

Work Conditions:

This is a national role, requiring frequent travel to sites, possibly including weekends, depending on site location. You must live within a commutable distance to depots in Port Talbot, South Wales, or Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire, as there is no dedicated vehicle provided for this position.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, plus benefits, including a 84:30 Monday to Thursday schedule and a 2pm finish on Friday. Depending on site location, you may work 7 days a week, with pay for all hours worked.
