AHU Service Engineer Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled AHU Service Engineer to provide technical support to our clients and their engineering teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of AHU and HVAC systems across a wide range of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification, or commissioning of AHU & HVAC systems.
  2. Provide technical support to clients and fellow engineers, ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met.
  3. Coordinate with the project delivery management team and liaise with planners to ensure seamless project delivery.

AHU Service Engineer Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of HVAC / AHU and service, fault finding, and commissioning.
  • City and Guilds 2079 City and Guilds/NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Electrical qualifications - desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to pass or hold a DBS and security clearance.

AHU Service Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary £45k-55k based on experience.
  • 50-hour contract, with 10 hours paid travel and 40 hours site time.
  • Additionally, travel outside the 50 hours is paid at 1.5x.
  • Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sun/Bank Holidays.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - option to purchase up to 5 more days.
