The primary responsibility of this position is to work closely with communities across Surrey, identifying potential issues, and developing strategies to prevent harm. As a key liaison between the community and Sussex Police, you will communicate effectively, provide support, and build trust.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring a visible presence in the community, addressing concerns, and promoting safety awareness. You will also assist in the prevention of crime and disorder, as well as supporting vulnerable individuals and groups.
Salary and Benefits
This role comes with a starting salary of £28,301, plus an unsocial hours allowance of £1,768 per annum. You will also receive a fully-funded professional qualification – Level 4 Diploma in Community Policing Practice, 25 days per year annual leave (rising to 29 days depending on length of service), and access to a competitive benefits package including pension, flexible benefits, employee assistance program for advice and counseling, and more.
