About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team at Beautiful Recruitment. As a Laboratory Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory in all on-site storage rooms, including lab equipment, supplies, and office furniture and supplies.
  • Change gas canisters and meet/greet the gas supplier to take delivery of gas.
  • Facilitate waste management and vendor-managed inventory & laboratory consumables stock control.
  • Meet and greet external Laboratory Equipment Engineers on site.
  • Stock up fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and all general office supplies for the team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Laboratory Services Coordinator, Laboratory Services Associate, Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant, or Laboratory Materials Coordinator.
  • Experience in performing basic lab equipment troubleshooting/maintenance is desired, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • An understanding of EH&S compliance and crisis management practices, with an EH&S qualification such as NEBOSH being desirable.
