A leading recruitment agency, Sanctuary Personnel, is seeking an experienced Social Worker for a permanent position within the Adult Mental Health Team based in Bromley.

The annual salary for this role is up to £46,578.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake mental health assessments and statutory functions as part of the AMHP borough wide rota, if qualified.
  • In partnership with service users and carers, assess and identify needs, ensuring they are met to enhance quality of life and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with professionals and organisations through effective communication and consultation networks, ensuring a coordinated response to service users and carers.
  • Provide professional advice and expertise to less experienced staff, carry a complex caseload, and establish, monitor, and review care plans in line with CPA policy and procedures.
  • Contribute to budget control by agreeing priorities with service users and carers to ensure quality best value.
  • Ensure welfare benefit entitlements are identified and met within legislative requirements and available resources.
  • Contribute to civil emergency plans, support colleagues, and assess/manage risk when required.
  • Undertake safeguarding investigations, adhering to the Council's safeguarding policy and procedures while working with vulnerable adults and children.
  • Familiarise, uphold, and promote the aims of the Council's Equality and Diversity policies.

Requirements:

  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
