Automotive Workshop Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of our modern workshop, equipped with the latest technology and manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools.
Your primary responsibility will be to maximise the profitability, productivity, and efficiency of the workshop team, while ensuring that all work produced meets the highest technical and quality standards. You will work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive excellence in our workshop operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a solid automotive workshop background, with a common-sense business approach and excellent communication skills. You will be a people person, able to motivate and lead a team to achieve outstanding results. Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician with relevant Level 2 or 3 qualifications is highly desirable.
