About the Role

Flourish Education Ltd is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Good 'rated' Primary School located in Kings Norton. This full-time, long-term position involves supporting a Year 2 class, focusing on whole-class support and assisting students with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behavior.

This role requires a commitment from January until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young students.

We estimate that the salary for this position will be approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • SUPPORT STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS: Assist students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behavior in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • WHOLE-CLASS SUPPORT: Provide assistance to the teacher in managing classroom activities and ensuring the smooth operation of lessons.
  • Maintain a SAFE AND ORDERLY CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENT: Encourage good behavior and ensure the well-being of all students.
