Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Armstrong Knight. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial expertise and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist partners and senior staff in dealing with a wide range of clients, providing expert financial guidance and support.
  • Undertake bookkeeping duties, including preparing VAT returns, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Assist with or prepare and audit accounts and tax compliance for sole traders, partnerships, and Limited Companies, adhering to pre-assigned instructions from client records.
  • Provide fast and efficient responses to client queries and enquiries for additional services, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
About You
  • You will be AAT qualified or an AAT finalist, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Sageline 50 and Sage payroll is an advantage, but not essential.
  • You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • A good team player, committed to delivering the highest quality of service standards.
  • Adaptable to working within a dynamic and evolving environment, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
