We are seeking a skilled Audit Assistant Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing audits, ensuring adherence to established procedures while providing guidance to junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualifications with practice experience, as well as strong audit analysis and planning skills. They will be proficient in Excel, Word, and CaseWare, with previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff. A client-focused mindset with commercial awareness is essential for this role.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for conducting audits in accordance with prescribed procedures, developing detailed audit plans, and assigning sections of audits to junior staff. You will also monitor project progress, managing budgets and deadlines effectively. Additionally, you will conduct final analytical reviews and oversee the completion of audit files, drafting client correspondence related to audits and financial statements.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience.
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification auditing experience.
  • Strong audit analysis and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally CaseWare.
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Client-focused mindset with commercial awareness.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
